Niagara Falls man arrested following traffic stop

A 29-year-old Niagara Falls man was arrested Thursday on charges of possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license, after being stopped for allegedly operating a vehicle without a valid inspection certificate, according to State Police.

Taddeus Remington was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation following the traffic stop on Centre Avenue in the City of Niagara Falls, State Police said.

Troopers said they noticed the alleged odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, according to State Police.
