Tonawanda city attorney announces his retirement

Ronald C. Trabucco is retiring as attorney for the City of Tonawanda after 22 years with the city.

Michael Rua, who was sworn in to his 10th year as deputy attorney, said he would like to move into the top role.

No plans for Trabucco's replacement were announced and Council President Jenna Koch said the council was "still processing" Trabucco's departure.

The Council moved forward with plans for the 92-unit townhouse subdivision off of Little League Drive, Riverwalk Villas, by declaring the 14-acres of city land sold to David Homes for $160,000 no longer is needed as park land. No construction start date has been announced.
