Bill Fichtner knows drama.
The Maryvale High School graduate has been acting in movies for more than 30 years, which amounts to about half of the time he has spent rooting for the Bills.
“I remember going to games at the Rockpile with my dad in like the early ‘60s. The Bills are a long time in my heart,” Fichtner said Tuesday when he joined the Bucky & Sully Show on 1270 The Fan.
One of the more famous Bills fans, Fichtner narrated the documentary “Four Falls of Buffalo,” and is well aware what the end of the playoff drought means to Western New York’s collective psyche.
“Probably the greatest thing of it is, this was not expected,” Fichtner said. “We weren’t supposed to get that this year. At least, that’s what everybody said.”
