A. 1964.

The Bills were in a dogfight with the Boston Patriots for the AFL East title. The teams met on Dec. 20, the final day of the regular season, in a winner-take-all scenario with Buffalo at 11-2 and Boston 10-2-1. The Bills won, 24-14, to finish 12-2 and clinch the division. They then beat San Diego for the league championship.
