The Buffalo Veterans Affairs Medical Center has reassigned its associate director to another position during an investigation of complaints at the hospital.
The matter reportedly involves the medical center's handling of staff complaints, including harassment.
Royce Calhoun was reassigned to what a hospital official described as "special projects," said Evangeline Conley, spokeswoman for the medical center.
"We are aware of the allegations, and the matter is being investigated," hospital officials said in a statement.
Calhoun has served his entire VA career with VA Western New York Healthcare System, where he started as an accounting technician, according the VA website. He was named associate medical center director in April 2016.
