A Buffalo man was jailed after he was stopped last Saturday during a DWI Crackdown patrol on Route 20A in the Town of Warsaw, the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Christopher A. Mount, 38, was found to have had his driver’s license suspended six times for reasons that included drunken driving and failure to pay child support.
He also failed field sobriety testing, deputies said, and was arrested for driving while ability impaired by alcohol and eight other traffic charges, including first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
After he was arraigned, Mount was remanded to Wyoming County Jail without bail due to two previous felony convictions. He is scheduled to appear Jan. 8 in Warsaw Town Court.
