Don Paul's updated Bills-Pats forecast: Windy, dry and cold

As of Saturday afternoon, here is my look at the weather for Sunday's Bills-Patriots game at Gillette Stadium.

Tailgate forecast: The biggest change in the forecast involves a somewhat gustier wind and increased wind chill in the latest data. For tailgating, dry with a few sunny breaks, cold breeze. There may be a few slick spots from freezing rain and snow which had fallen earlier Saturday night. 8am temp: 32 rising to the mid 30s by noon.

Game temperature: 35-38.

Wind: Northwest shifting to northeast at 12-20, sometimes gusty. Some impact on passing/kicking game, with a noticeable wind chill.

Precipitation: None before or during the game.

Forecast: A chilly game with a brisk breeze, limited sun.

What to wear: Warm layers, gloves, hat and footwear. Again, this updated forecast includes more noticeable wind chill and slightly colder temperatures than previous forecast. Not "brutal," but on the cold side.
