A City of Tonawanda man who drive his car into a tree and flipped hover early Thursday morning was charged with driving while intoxicated, according to City of Tonawanda police.
Shawn A. Brumley, 29, of Broad Street, crashed on Minerva Street at 12:16 a.m., police said.
His only injury was a cut to his forehead but his Chevrolet Malibu was heavily damaged.
Brumley admitted drinking scotch on the rocks and feeling "a little buzzed," according to police.
He registered a blood-alcohol content of 0.13 percent and was held on $250 bail, police said.
