Alan Branch, Rex Burkhead still not practicing for Patriots

It's becoming more likely that the Patriots will be without two complementary pieces on both sides of the ball against the Bills in Week 16.

Running back Rex Burkhead did not practice Thursday with a knee injury. Defensive tackle Alan Branch did not practice as well for the second-straight day.

In the first meeting with the Bills this season, Burkhead ran for 78 yards on 12 carries with two touchdowns.

Branch has appeared on 274 snaps in 2017 for New England. He had one tackle and one quarterback hurry in the first meeting with Buffalo this season.

The following Patriots players practiced on limited basis on Thursday.

RB Brandon Bolden (groin), OT LaAdrian Waddle (ankle), DB Brandon King (hamstring), WR Chris Hogan (shoulder), DE Eric Lee (ankle), WR Matthew Slater (hamstring), LB Kyle Van Noy (calf),, RB James White (ankle)
