SANTONOCITO, Ronald Steven

SANTONOCITO - Ronald Steven Ronald Steven Santonocito passed away at Hospice in Cheektowaga after a long illness on December 18, 2017. Ron was the beloved son of the late Frank J. Sr. and late Barbara and is survived by his two brothers Frank J. Jr. and Richard (Hope) as well as a niece and nephews. Most importantly Ron leaves behind his one true love and life long partner of nearly four decades, Sharon Ann Smith. Without question, their worlds revolved around one another. Ron was many things to many people, an outdoorsman, avid hunter, fisherman and a true kind hearted man. One of his proudest accomplishments was the year he spent in British Columbia, Canada, studying and collecting wild life biology data for an article he coauthored entitled "Golden-Crown Sparrow". Ron was most at home during the hunting season at the Family "Property" in New Albion, NY or fishing on the high seas in the Gulf of Mexico, Florida, where he would almost always come home with a trophy of one kind or another. However, this all pales in comparison to the life he and Sharon built together.
To think about Ron and Sharon without mentioning their precious kitties and birds would be an injustice, for he loved those housemates like none else. Fluffy, Hunter and June; cockatiels Dino and Tiny Two Two. And the newest addition, Harvey the Betta. Ron was a one of a kind and truly loved.Ronald Steven Santonocito will be truly missed and forever in Sharon's heart. Family present today from 3-6 p.m. at the KAMIERCZAK FUNERAL HOME INC., 3640 Clinton St. (1 block east of Union Rd), West Seneca where a funeral liturgy will be held at 5:30 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined.
