Safety glass stops Niagara Falls bank break-in

Employees at a KeyBank at 800 Main St. in Niagara Falls reported an attempted break-in.

A bank worker told Niagara Falls police on Monday morning that over the weekend an unknown suspect damaged the glass door to the walk-in ATM area.

The safety glass was cracked, but remained intact and the suspect did not gain entry, police reported. Damage was estimated at $300.

Bank security will review the surveillance video of the store and share the footage with police. No witnesses or known suspects are available, police reported.
