NHL Network to broadcast all USA World Junior games

The NHL Network announced it would broadcast live all of the U.S. games in the 2018 IIHF Men's World Junior Championship. The network will broadcast 28 games in total.

Coverage begins with a special preview show at 5 p.m. Dec. 23, hosted by Tony Luftman, Dave Starman and Brian Lawton. That will be followed by a highlight-filled recap of last year's tournament at 5:30 p.m.

Paul Severino will call each USA game with analyst Dave Starman and reporter Jill Savage.

The network will show several games on a tape-delay basis including preliminary round games between Belarus and Sweden (air time 8 a.m. Dec. 27), Russia vs. Switzerland (6 a.m. Dec. 29) and Sweden vs. Switzerland (7 a.m. Dec. 31) along with the third quarterfinal game (airing at 10 a.m. Jan. 3).

Team USA begins its defense of the gold medal at 8 p.m. Dec. 26 when they play Denmark in KeyBank Center.
