Man walking to girlfriend's home robbed at gunpoint in Niagara Falls

NIAGARA FALLS – Two men dressed in black and wearing ski masks robbed a 34-year-old Niagara Avenue man early Friday as he walked in the 600 block of Seventh Street, police said.

The victim told police he was walking from a friend's house and was headed to his girlfriend's apartment when he was accosted from behind around 5:45 a.m. He said that two men told him to "give it all up" and that one rifled through his pockets while the other pointed a semi-automatic handgun at him. The men fled in a southerly direction after taking his wallet.

Police later found the wallet discarded a short distance away, minus $400 in cash, but with the victim's credit cards and personal effects all still intact.
