Prospective car buyer spooked by follow-up after browsing lot
I just started thinking about a new car, but am not ready to buy yet.
In order to avoid an aggressive sales person, I picked a day that a local dealership was closed to peruse the vehicles in their lot.
The next day I received an email thanking me for visiting the dealership and addressing me by my first name.
I’m sure there are cameras in the lot that can zoom in on my plate number. How did they get the rest of the information, what else do they know about me?
A little scary if you ask me.
