The Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School District will begin registering students for kindergarten in January. Registration is by appointment only.
To be eligible for kindergarten a child must be 5 years of age before Dec. 1, 2018.
Parents may call the office at 871-2090 to make an appointment or for more information. Registration packets will be mailed to current eligible residents and are available online. Parents must complete the registration packet and provide their child's original birth certificate or baptismal certificate and two current proofs of the parent's residence.
Registration for kindergarten at Holmes and Hoover Elementary schools will be on Jan. 8 to 12; Franklin and Lindbergh on Jan. 16 to 19; and Edison Elementary on Jan. 22 to 26. Students attending non-public schools are also asked to notify the central office.
Universal prekindergarten registration, a half-day program for 4-year-olds, will be March 5 to 9.
