Buffalo police arrested a man who they say knocked off a light globe in front of Frizzy's Bar in Allentown early Sunday before kicking it down Allen Street.
Police charged James Scaife with three misdemeanors: fourth-degree criminal mischief, resisting arrest and second-degree obstructing governmental administration.
Officers said they saw Scaife kick the light globe in front of the bar at 140 Allen St., causing it to break into pieces. When officers approached him, his hands were in his pocket. When he refused to take his hands out of his pocket, police said he was forced to the ground and arrested.
Last month, a fatal shooting occurred outside Frizzy's Bar on Nov. 3.
