Mark Gaughan's Big Play: Thompson's lone catch was huge

Deonte Thompson had only 19 catches for the Buffalo Bills this season and he made only one grab Sunday.

It was a remarkable one, and it keyed the Bills' 13-7 snow-globe, overtime victory over the Indianapolis Colts.

Thompson's 35-yard catch from quarterback Joe Webb with 1:52 to go converted a third-and-6 situation. It gave the Bills a first down at the Colts' 27. Thompson's catch came despite the fact cornerback Kenny Moore interfered with him on the play.

Three plays later, LeSean McCoy ran 21 yards for a touchdown to win it.
