Williamsville woman accused of fighting police on Allen Street

A Williamsville resident faces several charges after being thrown out of an Allen Street bar and fighting with police around 1 a.m. Saturday, according to a Buffalo police report.

Kearstin R. Enright, 21, of Maple Road, faces a felony charge of assault on a police officer or peace officer, misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration and several counts of disorderly conduct, police said in a report.

Police said that after Enright was asked to leave an establishment at 256 Allen --  Exchange on Allen -- she failed to follow police commands, and when told to put her hands behind her back, she  went into a fighting stance. Enright, who police described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and 125 pounds, then kicked and fought with officers as they took her to the ground, the report said.
