OOPS! – Correct time is 6 p.m. Thursday for the meeting of DAV Roll of Honor Chapter 120 downstairs in the Milton Brounshidle Post, 3354 Delaware Ave., Town of Tonawanda. Use the side entrance or the elevator at the back of the building. The chapter meets on every first Thursday.

FOR THE CAUSE – The House Band holds its second annual House Party Jam and Fundraiser to benefit the Food Bank of Western New York from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday in the Irishman Pub and Eatery, 5601 Main St. Admission is free. Last year’s party raised more than $400 for the Food Bank.

HOLIDAY FUN – Meet Santa, frost a cookie and make pine cone crafts at Christmas at the Farm from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the Sanborn Farm Museum Hall, 2660 Saunders Settlement Road, Sanborn. Lunch is available at 11:30 a.m. both days. Horse and wagon rides will be offered Sunday only.

SEASONAL SOUNDS – The Buffalo Schwaben Chor and the Schwaben Spatzen will present a German Christmas Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday in St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7700 Goodrich Road at Wolcott Road, Clarence. A free will offering will be collected. Refreshments will follow.

PLAN AHEAD – Reservations are needed by Friday for the Dec. 14 program in the Speaker/Lunch Series hosted by the Women’s Society of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo, 695 Elmwood Ave. It begins at 11:30 a.m. with a performance of two pieces, “Speak” and “Butterfly Sky,” by puppet artist Michele Costa. A catered lunch is at 12:30 p.m.
Payment of $20 for lunch must be made to the church office. Cost is $5 for the performance only. Refreshments will be served at 11 a.m. for a $3 donation. For more info, email laurie748@gmail.com.
