Thunder of Niagara: Watch for thunderbirds, snowbirds and raptors at June show

Three famous military stunt flying teams will headline the 2018 Thunder of Niagara Air Show at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station.

The 914th Air Refueling Wing, the Air Force Reserve unit at the base, announced Tuesday that the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, the F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team and the Royal Canadian Air Force Snowbird Demonstration Team will perform at the free show June 9-10.

"The 2018 Thunder of Niagara Air Show is excited for the community and aviation enthusiasts to present a never-before-seen lineup of this magnitude," said Maj. Ben Canetti, the show director.

The week before the show will include several community events to highlight Air Force Reserve Week and the 70th anniversary of the Air Force Reserve.
