Lockport man charged with slicing Buffalo woman with box cutter

A Lockport man was arrested early Monday accused of slicing a woman from her chin to her chest with a box cutter, according to a Buffalo police report.

Myron L. Williams, 30, faces assault and other charges after police said he attacked a 32-year-old woman on Theodore Street on Nov. 12, according to the report. He is also accused of stealing the woman's purse from her home, off Genesee Street east of Bailey Avenue.

The victim was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. In addition to second-degree assault, police charged Williams with fourth-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and petit larceny.
