Refugee children to receive new bicycles from bank

Young refugees who have found a new home in Buffalo will be receiving a holiday gift from M&T Bank employees this week. Six recently resettled children will be given bicycles that were built by employees from the bank's Legal Division.

M&T donated the bicycles to Journey’s End Refugee Services, and the employees who helped assemble the bikes will present them to the children chosen by Journey's End on Monday morning.

The gifts will be a surprise to the children, who are from Afghanistan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Iraq, Nepal and Sudan.
