A deliveryman for Skip the Dishes was robbed Friday of a $40 food order, his vehicle and phone, in a South Buffalo neighborhood, police reported.
The deliveryman told police he drove to an address in the 100 block of Houston Street and was met by two males who took the food and ran. As that was happening three more males jumped in the delivery vehicle and drove off. The vehicle was recovered on Hopkins Street by witnesses who told police that the three men were picked up by another car.
The deliveryman was not injured, police reported.
In November, a deliveryman for Skip the Dishes was shot in the face with a BB gun during an attempted robbery in a Kensington-Bailey neighborhood. In that incident three suspects tried to enter the delivery vehicle but were fought off, police said.
