Spend-happy politicians to blame for high state taxes

Why are New York politicians accusing the federal government of attacking New York State by either reducing or eliminating taxes (income and/or real estate) as a deduction on the federal tax return?

Number one, when you file NYS income tax, you have to eliminate sales tax and New York State income tax.

Number two, it is not the federal government’s fault that New York, California and Illinois constantly are the highest taxed states.

It is time for New York State to look inward to identify why they are such a high taxed state. We as taxpayers know we are one of the most taxed states in the nation, but there doesn’t seem to be much we can do about it.

It is time for New York State to have a complete in depth audit by a reputable accounting firm that will weed out inefficiencies and unnecessary spending.

Don’t blame the federal government, blame the spend-happy politicians that the Democrats keep electing
