Girl, 13, waiting at West Side bus stop flees attempted abductors

Three people chased a 13-year-old girl waiting at a bus stop Monday morning on Buffalo's West Side in what police are calling a "possible attempted abduction."

The incident happened at 6:45 a.m. near Massachusetts Avenue and Columbus Parkway, Buffalo police posted on Facebook.

The teenager was waiting at a bus stop when a black, four-door vehicle with orange Bondo – a commercial automotive body filler – on the side pulled up.

Three black males jumped out of the vehicle and chased her, she told police. The men ripped her jacket, but she was able to escape them.

Police did not release any information about the assailants' ages or any further physical description.

Police are asking anyone with information to call or text the Buffalo police TIPCALL Line at 847-2255.
