Delevan woman charged with animal neglect

A Delevan woman has been charged with animal neglect, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office.

Amy S. Kingsland, 35, was charged Monday afternoon after authorities determined three dogs were being kept outside her home on Mill Street without proper food, water or shelter, the Sheriff's Office said. One of the dogs was in need of medical attention.

Kingsland was issued appearance tickets while the dogs were seized under a warrant from Yorkshire Town Court and placed into the custody of Yorkshire dog control officer Joe Neamon, officials said.
