Elliott, 28, was picked up Aug. 9 after Falls police found Elliott's car parked near Tony Roma's restaurant on Buffalo Avenue, with Anvia Mickens' body in the trunk and blood on the back seat.

Elliott, who had rented a bicycle, was stunned by a Taser in a parking lot at Niagara Street and Rainbow Boulevard after lunging with a knife at one of the officers who had chased him. Defense attorney Joel L. Daniels said Elliott will be extradited to Ohio in the murder case after sentencing Dec. 19 in Niagara County Court on the misdemeanor menacing charge.
