West Side restaurant Lait Cru Brasserie expands dinner service

Lait Cru Brasserie, the French-influenced restaurant in the West Side's Horsefeathers Building, is expanding its hours.

The restaurant, 346 Connecticut St., will now serve dinner five days a week. Breakfast and lunch are also offered, often drawing on the wares of owner Jill Forster's sibling business, Nickel City Cheese & Mercantile, located in adjoining space.

Lait Cru's menu has been expanded to include more French bistro standards, like moules frites, mussels with fries ($13/$24), and bouillabaisse, fish stew with red pepper saffron sauce ($26).

Hours: 9 a.m.-2:30 pm, 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday; 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Sunday brunch. Phone: 462-4100.
