Tom Brady was hit eight times by the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, equaling a season high. While the New England Patriots quarterback said he was "a little sore," he said he fully expects to be ready for next week's game against the Bills.
"Kind of late in the year and it was a pretty physical game," he said during an appearance on WEEI's "Kirk and Callahan Show," according to ESPN.com. "A little extra treatment this week and I'll be ready to go next week."
While the Dolphins were physical with Brady, including a hit near the helmet by Ndamukong Suh, Brady said he did not think any of the hits were dirty or crossed the line.
"That's kind of how they play," he said. "They play physical, they play aggressive, and sometimes they get called and sometimes they don't. If the refs call it, they call it. If they don't, they don't. I always kind of lobby the refs all game to try to get a couple, but we really didn't get any yesterday."
The Patriots, winners of seven in a row, opened as 10-point favorites against the Bills. Brady has not lost at Buffalo since 2011.
