Buffalo man charged with burning son with hot grease

A Buffalo man faces charges after police said he burned his son's face Sunday afternoon by throwing hot grease at him.

Jimmie Sessions, 58, was arrested on the 100 block of Albany Street at 5:30 p.m., according to a Buffalo police report. Sessions was charged with second-degree assault, second-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree harassment.

The 37-year-old victim was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment. Sessions also sought medical treatment at ECMC, though further information on his injuries was not available.
