Presidents' relationship with media is topic of event at History Museum

American presidents and their relationships with the news media will be discussed during a free event at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Buffalo History Museum, off Nottingham Terrace. “Presidents and the Press” is sponsored by the Buffalo Presidential Center.

Rose Ciotta, formerly of The Buffalo News, will moderate a panel with Jody Kleinberg Biehl, former European correspondent and director of the University at Buffalo’s journalism program; Lee Coppola, former reporter, federal prosecutor and dean of St. Bonaventure University’s journalism school; Buffalo News reporters Dan Herbeck and Robert J. McCarthy; and Jay Wendland, assistant professor of political science at Daemen College.

They’ll discuss President Trump and past presidents, including Theodore Roosevelt, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson.
