Nov. 28 – Western New York Chapter of Trout Unlimited will hold its monthly meeting at the Donovan American Legion Post, 3210 Genesee St., Cheektowaga. Fly tying begins at 6 p.m. General meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. Guest speaker will be DEC Region 9 Wildlife biologist Connie Adams addressing the problem of nuisance wildlife in your house or yard. Nov. 30 – Final day of musky season in the upper Niagara River, Lake Erie and the rest of the state with the exception of the lower Niagara River and Lake Ontario. Lower river and Lake Ontario is open through Dec. 15.
Nov. 30 – Final day, regular bass season in New York. Catch-and-release season takes over with the exception of Lake Erie. New trophy rules now apply. One fish limit, minimum size 20 inches.
