Man charged in Mighty Taco robbery also accused in Subway holdup

A Marilla man charged with robbing a Mighty Taco in Orchard Park on Sunday has also been accused of robbing a Subway in Newstead earlier this month, according to the Erie County Sheriff's Office.

Ryan Loos, 30, was already in the Erie County Holding Center on charges related to the Mighty Taco gunpoint robbery when sheriff's deputies charged him with the Nov. 1 holdup at a Subway.

Loos is accused of displaying a gun in the sandwich shop, deputies said. He was charged with robbery, menacing and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use, deputies said. Loos was arraigned Tuesday by a Newstead town justice who refused to set bail.

Loos and his mother, Pamela Loos, were charged with robbing a Mighty Taco on Southwestern Boulevard. Ryan Loos was already being held on $10,000 cash bail for charges related to that incident.
