Somerset man, charged with a Lockport store robbery, is indicted in another

Jamil T. Alhorebi, already under indictment in connection with a Town of Lockport gas station robbery, has been indicted for a similar stickup in the City of Lockport.

Alhorebi, 31, of Lakeview Drive, Somerset, pleaded not guilty Monday in Niagara County Court to new charges of robbery and grand larceny stemming from a Sept. 25, 2016 holdup at the 7-Eleven store at South Transit and High streets.

In July, Alhorebi was indicted on charges of robbing the Sunoco station at South Transit and Robinson roads at knifepoint on Oct. 1, 2016.

Alhorebi, who pleaded not guilty, had posted $15,000 bail in that case, but Monday Judge Matthew J. Murphy III ordered him jailed in lieu of an additional $10,000 for the new indictment.
