Homeroom Announcements: Sunday's big games & more

We know there's no homeroom today. But we're up and ready to go.

What to watch for Sunday

1. Girls volleyball - NYSPHSAA championships at Glens Falls Civic Center

Williamsville East (Class A), Portville (Class C) and Panama (Class D) all advanced to Sunday's finals.

The Flames went 4-2 in pool play and face I-Walter Panas, which they split with. Portville dominated pool play going 6-0 and takes on IX-Millbrook. Both games are at noon

Panama also went 6-0 and looks to defend its state title against IV-Bainbridge at 2 p.m.

2. Cross country - All Western New York XC Invitational

All runners of the week student-athletes are eligible to participate in the Checkers/Runner’s Roost All Western New York Invitational at Knox Farms in East Aurora at 10 a.m.
