In the 114-year history of Canisius basketball, no one has had a game like Isaiah Reese did Saturday.
Reese became the first Canisius player to record a triple-double, scoring 23 points, snagging 11 rebounds and dishing out 11 assists in the Golden Griffins’ 104-84 victory against Youngstown State.
As a team, the Golden Griffins shot 62 percent from the field and scored the most regulation points at the Koessler Athletic Center since 1989. Five Canisius players scored 20 or more points.
Spencer Foley had his most successful night yet this year, hitting six of his seven 3-point attempts and leading the team with 25 points. 22 of those came in the first half.
