Charlie Weis, who won four Super Bowls as an assistant with the New England Patriots, took what seems to be a contrarian view among the national media on the Bills' decision to switch from Tyrod Taylor to Nathan Peterman.
Speaking on Sirius XM NFL Radio, Weis said the Bills changed quarterbacks because "they think the kid gives them a better chance at winning."
More from Weis is in the tweet below:
.@CharlieWeisSr: The #Bills didn't make the QB change to throw Tyrod Taylor under the bus...they did it because they think the kid (Nate Peterman) gives them a better chance at winning. That is the only reason you make a change. pic.twitter.com/JFNQvuFCdY
