The revolving door continues at the Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority, which selected as its newest attorney a former interim executive director who previously served as the agency's counsel.
Gillian D. Brown will fill a slot that opened when Delia Cadle moved out of the area earlier this year.
The BMHA has yet to negotiate a salary agreement with Brown, according to Dawn Sanders-Garrett the agency's executive director.
Brown served as BMHA attorney from 1995 to 2007 and as interim executive director from 2005 until Sanders-Garrett was hired in 2007.
Brown is the second former agency official returning to the BMHA in recent months. David Rodriguez, who served as attorney from 2012 to 2016, returned as board chairman in August 2017.
