Comedy Central's "South Park" became the latest to roast the Los Angeles Chargers about their attendance woes since leaving San Diego, and the Bills make an appearance in the episode aired Wednesday.
In the show – a clip is below – the Chargers are shown warming up in a massive empty stadium except for one fan sitting with his nachos and wearing a Philip Rivers jersey.
When the fan is shown before the kickoff, the announcer says, “A record sellout crowd in the stadium! Football is clearly more popular than ever with a whopping 17 million in attendance!”
The Bills kick off to the sound of crickets.
South Park follows barbs from Jimmy Kimmel about the lack of fans.
Given how well Bills fans travel, Sunday's game in L.A. could represent a Bills Mafia takeover.
