Philip Rivers upgraded to "full" in Chargers' Thursday practice

Before practice on Thursday, Anthony Lynn stated Philip Rivers would be a limited participant. After the session it was noted that the quarterback was upgraded to "full" by Rotoworld.com.

While there still has not been an official word that Rivers cleared the concussion protocol, a "full" practice insinuates the removal of that designation is imminent. Clearly, the 35-year-old signal-caller felt better than his coach thought he would, but he'll still need to get the final OK from team doctors before taking the field in a game.

If cleared soon, Rivers will obviously be back in the Chargers' starting lineup for the matchup against the Bills on Sunday, which would be his 186th-consecutive regular-season start in the NFL.
