Buffalo Bills center Eric Wood joined Mike Schopp and The Bulldog as part of "Football Monday" on WGR-550 AM on Monday.
Wood was frank about the Bills' drubbing at the hands of the New Orleans Saints, what the team can learn from it and where they need to go big picture. Wood also gave his opinion as to what the team does best — citing a chat Juan Castillo and Rick Dennison had postgame.
Wood finished up talking about the potential lack of Chargers fans in the LA game, the Bills' plans to get in and out of Los Angeles and Woods' opinion of their defensive front.
Wood: "Yesterday was about as bad as it gets ... just a poor day."
Wood: "We can't go in the tank, we're sitting at 5-4 ... our focus from now forward is getting back to fundamentals and figuring out how to beat the Chargers."
Wood on Taylor's ability to check at the line: "He has some freedom — he can potentially check it and get it to the receiver and get to the next down."
Wood on Saints jumping into stands: "If I was around it and it happened around me I'm not sure what my reaction would be ... I honestly don't even know what to say."
