Ilio DiPaolo's to hold viewing of Lifetime movie filmed in Buffalo

A special viewing of the Lifetime movie, “Stage Fright” will take place at Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 21.

Why Ilio's?

Owner Dennis DiPaolo has a cameo in the movie, which is one of six produced in the Buffalo area by director Fred Olen Ray.

“Stage Fright” was filmed last year throughout Western New York at the Riviera Theater, Record Theatre and Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant and features Jordan Ladd, Brody Hutzler and Kenmore native Alan Pietruszewski, who will be on hand for the viewing at the restaurant at 3785 South Park Ave., Blasdell.

The movie tells the story of opera soprano Sarah Conrad, who agrees to a comeback years after a violent attack sent her into retirement. But when she steps back into the limelight, a series of new dangers threaten to keep her from ever singing again.
