A Buffalo woman faces charges after Tuesday morning's rollover hit-and-run crash on Colvin Avenue.
Cory A. Carrubba, 32, of Paige Avenue, was pulled over at about 9:30 a.m. on the 300 block of Linden Avenue about a half-mile from the crash scene, which was on the 300 block of Colvin, according to a Buffalo police report.
Probationary Police Officer Letonio G. Johnson spotted a car with passenger-side damage that matched the description of the vehicle that fled the scene. Officers found Hydrocodone pills inside Carrubba's vehicle, the report said.
Carrubba was charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, reckless driving, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance in a non-original container, police said. She has a prior conviction for leaving the scene of an accident, according to the report.
Police did not release any details about the injured motorist.
