Colleges: Buffalo State host for NCAA men's soccer regional

Buffalo State (10-4-4) will host regional games at Coyer Field this weekend in the NCAA Division III men's soccer tournament. The Bengals, who are ranked 22nd in the nation and earned an at-large bid for the first time since 1984, will face Hobart (10-4)at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Messiah (18-2-0) will face Castleton State (12-6-2) in the first game at 5 p.m. Saturday's winners will meet on Sunday at 7 p.m.
The games on Saturday will be after the Buffalo State-St. John Fisher noon football game at Coyer.
Buffalo State is making its seventh all-time appearance in the NCAA playoffs and is seeking its first postseason win since 1982 when it defeated RIT, 1-0.

Medaille will face host Otterbein in Westerville, Ohio at 5 p.m. on Saturday in another Division III regional. Kenyon (Ohio) and Transylvania (Ky.) meet in the other game in Westerville with the winners meeting on Sunday at 7 p.m.
