Former Bills defensive lineman Marcell Dareus made his debut with the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday, two weeks after being traded for a conditional sixth-round pick.
Darues made three solo tackles in the Jags' 23-7 win over the Bengals. He didn't start, but helped limit Bengals rushers to 29 yards on 17 runs. The Jags outgained the Bengals, 408-148.
“I’m happy to come in and contribute any way possible," Dareus said. "These guys have welcomed me with open arms. They’re just as excited as I am for me to be here.”
Ouch: Former Bills coach Rex Ryan made sure to take a shot at Dareus on NFL Countdown, saying the only thing he saw Mr. Big Stuff actually stuff in Buffalo was his pockets.
