Jamestown teen charged after alleged threats to brother

A Jamestown teenager was arrested Monday after allegedly threatening his brother with a large knife and damaging his vehicle, according to Jamestown Police.

Jamestown Police said the 16-year-old boy fled when officers arrived about 12:40 p.m. to the Franklin Street address, where the incident had allegedly taken place.

The teen was located by police a short distance away, and was arrested on charges of second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal mischief, authorities said.

The teen was transported to the city jail without incident, Jamestown Police said.
