Lewiston man draws prison term for Porter burglary

A Lewiston man was sentenced Thursday to 2 1/2 years in prison, the third man sent to prison in connection with a Feb. 15, 2016 break-in at a home on Brayley Road in Porter.

Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III also tacked on three years of post-release supervision for James C. Lauzau Jr., 26, of Harper Drive.

Murphy previously sentenced Colton J. Sherman, 25, of West Eddy Drive, Lewiston, to 1 1/3 to four years in prison and Patrick M. Stevens, 24, of South Park Avenue, Hamburg, to the state prison system’s boot camp-like “shock incarceration” program, with a threat of one to three years in a regular cell if he fails in the shock program.
