Tradition of Halloween parades continues in Tonawanda

Three Town of Tonawanda volunteer fire departments will offer three days of Halloween fun and parades for kids on Saturday, Sunday and on Tuesday, which is Halloween.

The Ellwood Volunteer Fire Company parade will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Highland Plaza and march to the fire hall, where there will be a costume contest, games, gift bags, entertainment and refreshments.

The Brighton Volunteer Fire Company parade will assemble at 5:45 p.m. Sunday at the Alexander Hamilton School, and proceed east on St. Amelia Drive, to Braxmar and Jamaica roads to the fire hall. There will be a costume contest and refreshments.

Kenilworth Volunteer Fire Company's parade will assemble at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Kenilworth playground and proceed  from Hawthorne Avenue to the fire hall on Kenilworth Avenue. There will be a costume contest and refreshments.
