Former University at Buffalo star Khalil Mack of the Oakland Raiders may be talking about his return to Western New York after all.
CBS sent out a release today noting that its Sunday pregame show, "The NFL Today," plans to preview Oakland's game with the Bills "with a feature on the Raiders All-Pro linebacker "as he returns to Buffalo to take on the Bills."
One would think any such feature would include questions about Mack's time in Buffalo.
According to Bay Area reporters this week, Mack, who was chosen one spot behind receiver Sammy Watkins in the first round of the 2014 draft, wasn't talking this week about his days in Western New York.
Reporter Matt Schneidman tweeted Wednesday that Mack was "adamant" about not talking about his return to Buffalo.
Apparently he is not always adamant when it comes to sharing information about his time here. A crew from CBS, which is broadcasting the Bills-Raiders game Sunday, was spotted Wednesday inside Elmo's Bar & Restaurant on Millersport Highway. Mack loves the wings at Elmo's and has from his days when he was a regular down the street, at UB.
