Roswell Park Cancer Institute will start a new five-week tobacco cessation course on Oct. 30.
The free classes start at noon and will run for five Mondays in a row.
Those who attend the classes will receive a nicotine assessment, professional cessation guidance, group support, relaxation strategies, relapse prevention, medication referrals and free nicotine replacement medication.
“A person can jump in anytime,” said Roswell tobacco cessation coach Stephanie Segal. “It’s about real life skills.”
Those interested must register by calling Segal at 845-8667. For more information, visit roswellpark.org/tobaccocessation.
